Angel’s Envy 2023 Cask Strength Rye is a rye whiskey finished in Sauternes barrels and toasted oak, bottled at 114.4 proof. Sweet wine and toast over the spice — orchard fruit and honey instead of the rum-cask rye you already know.
Orchard fruit, honey, vanilla, pepper, and toasted oak. Warm and coating, with leftover Sauternes sweetness on the finish.
