Appleton Estate Ruby Anniversary Edition spent its maturation under tropical conditions in oak casks, bringing age, place, and wood together. The 750 mL bottle is filled at 86 proof (43% ABV), giving the rum a firm but not overbearing frame. That extended tropical rest clearly distinguishes it within the category and gives the anniversary edition its long-matured identity.
Minty orange brings a cool citrus lift against the rounded sweetness of butterscotch. Cinnamon adds a dry, warming edge, while coffee and toasted oak give the finish a darker register. It is well suited to a small neat pour.
