At 12.5% ABV, this Champagne carries its richness lightly. Time on the lees has left an unmistakable baked-biscuit warmth beneath the fruit, the kind of depth that only comes from patience in the cellar. Crystallized citrus gives the first impression its polish, bright but never sharp, and orange blossom lifts everything that follows.
Peach fills out the palate with real weight, while vanilla and honey settle underneath and hold. Lemon runs through the finish, keeping the sweetness in check and leaving the mouth clean. A multi-vintage blend of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier, it draws structure from the dark grapes and finesse from the white.
The 1.5 L bottle is built for a table with people around it. Larger formats also tend to show a finer, more persistent bead. Serve it well chilled, in a white wine glass rather than a flute, so the orchard fruit and floral notes have somewhere to go.
