Barrell Cigar Blend Bourbon Whiskey is Barrell Craft Spirits’ first cigar blend, a limited 2026 release bottled at 111.2 proof. Straight bourbons aged 7.5 to 18 years, distilled in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana, were finished in Madeira, Armagnac, rum, and Hungarian oak. The fortified-wine casks bring dried fruit and an oxidized, nutty richness. The rum cask adds molasses. Hungarian oak lays in cola spice, cedar, and a tobacco frame. Whisky Advocate scored it 94.
The mouthfeel is big, oily, and chewy. Grape, ripe berry, and black-raspberry jam meet cherry, chocolate, and a hint of tobacco, with pipe tobacco, cedar, toffee, and date in the mix. Whisky Advocate’s finish is Black Forest cake, baking spice, and berries. The close hangs on clove, cocoa, and a dry mineral note.
