Charlie and Andy Nelson blend reserve barrels aged at least 9 years, then finish that small batch in Spanish oloroso sherry casks. The dry sherry lays dried stone fruit, caramel, and cocoa over the rye spice.
Dried stone fruit and caramel open the glass, with a floral note and rye spice underneath. Vanilla bread pudding and spiced cocoa follow on a soft, full mouthfeel. The finish runs long on oak.
