Compass Box Delos Blended Scotch Whisky is the second release in Compass Box’s Extinct Blends Quartet, a 2022 limited recreation of the retired Asyla blend using older stocks: 5,520 bottles at 98 proof. Malt from Glen Elgin, Imperial, and Miltonduff in American oak carries exotic fruit and vanilla, and Cameronbridge grain keeps the silky mouthfeel that defined Asyla. Natural colour, not chill-filtered.
Ripe pear, pineapple, and orange oil break first, then vanilla cream and white chocolate. Guava, heather honey, and chai spice build as the sip sits, on a satiny texture that finishes with vanilla and a light citrus tartness.
