Worm-tub condensers leave extra weight in the new make, and refill American oak is chosen so heather honey is not buried by first-fill wood. The malt is only lightly peated, which is why smoke sits as a finish. A bottle you can open for guests without overthinking the pour.
Heather honey and vanilla lead, with citrus and malted bread in the middle and a thread of peat behind them. The body is smooth and light to medium, and the long finish turns from sweet to smoke, malt, and a little salt.
