Ragged Branch, Journeyman, Boulder Spirits, and J. Henry's heirloom red-corn bourbon from Wisconsin were chosen for wheat and malted barley instead of rye, so the sip leans cherry cola and baking spice rather than pepper heat. The kind of bottle that earns a second glass with friends.
Brown sugar and salted caramel open, then rich cherry cola, Demerara, and deep oak. Baking spice lingers without biting, singed citrus peel and chocolate sit in the structure, and the finish stays coating and sweet.
