Four Roses 2021 Limited Edition Small Batch Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is the highest-proof LESB Four Roses had bottled to that point: 114.2, non-chill filtered, 12 to 16 years. The blend is 58% 16-year OESV, 23% 12-year OESK, 13% 16-year OBSV, and 6% 14-year OBSQ — floral Q yeast in a small dose, aged until it reads as candy rather than perfume. A generous sipper when the weather turns and the evening stretches.
Ripe berries, light florals, and warm oak open. Plum, orange peel, and delicate spice fill a robust, high-proof sip that still stays defined, then vanilla cream and dark chocolate linger on the finish.
