Donnis Todd's stated pairing is Port's raspberry, blackberry, and chocolate against Garrison's heavier Hill Country bourbon. Numbered bottles, wax-dipped. The kind of bottle that earns a second glass with friends.
Ripe plum, berries, and toasted coffee sit on chocolate and cinnamon, then honey and mesquite on the close. The tawny Port stain is creamy and jammy, with seasoned oak still clearly Garrison underneath. It drinks rounded, dark-fruit-sweet, and coating.
