Garrison Brothers Small Batch Texas Bourbon Whiskey is the flagship 94-proof wheated bourbon from Hye: sweet mash of food-grade corn, wheat, and barley, aged at least four years in new American oak while Texas summers drive the whiskey through the wood, then proofed with Hill Country rainwater. Grain to glass, nothing sourced. The Texas on the label is origin. Fits a cold-weather night as easily as an after-dinner dram.
Honeyed apple, verbena, and saddle leather open with cinnamon. Orange candy and pound cake fill the middle; the close is caramel apple, walnut, and a thread of tobacco. Chewy oak sits beside that fruit, maple and pecan, drinking warmer than 94.
