Made from Blue Weber agave in Jalisco, this reposado spends 6 months in ex-American whiskey casks, followed by a 2-month finish in ex-Cognac barrels. The two-stage aging brings the sweeter flavors and wood notes together without losing the character of the agave. At 80 proof (40% ABV), it has enough presence to stand on its own while remaining approachable for mixing. The 750 mL size works well for either use.
