Hibiki Japanese Harmony 100th Anniversary Edition Blended Japanese Whisky is the 2023 centennial design of Suntory’s Harmony blend: malt and grain from Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Chita, married in American oak, sherry casks, and Mizunara. The 24-facet bottle carries a Kakehashi bridge and Setsugekka—snow, moon, and flowers—marking a hundred years since Shinjiro Torii founded Japan’s first malt distillery. Bottled at 86 proof (43% ABV). Open it with friends when the bottle is part of the toast.
Rose and lychee lift over rosemary and sandalwood. Honey, candied orange peel, and white chocolate round a luminous palate, and the finish is tender and long, with a last breath of Mizunara.
