Indri Diwali Collector's Edition Indian Single Malt Whisky is the 2023 Diwali release: a limited peated single malt from Indri, Haryana, matured in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. Only 450 bottles were allocated to the United States. Six-row barley, Indian copper pot stills, and north-Indian heat pack candied fruit and smoke into one cask-strength bottling at 121 proof, non-chill-filtered. Peat smoke and blackberry lead, then dried raspberry, date, and orange zest. The palate is viscous and sweet, with toasted nuts, cacao, pepper, and dark chocolate holding the middle before a long, smoky, red-fruit finish. Candied orange and leather linger beside the PX fruit and peat.
