Jack Daniel’s Triple Mash Bottled-in-Bond Blended Straight Whiskey
Jack Daniel’s Triple Mash Bottled-in-Bond Blended Straight Whiskey is Lynchburg’s three-mash blend in one bonded bottle: 60% Tennessee rye, 20% Tennessee whiskey, and 20% 100% malted-barley American malt, all distilled in the same season, aged at least four years in a bonded warehouse, and bottled at 100 proof. The rye supplies spice, the Tennessee whiskey honey and banana, and the malt a toasted-bread sweetness a single mash cannot cover. This 1 L bottle is built for a weeknight pour.
Honey, banana, and toasted oak lead, with dark cherry, red raspberry, and a cola-marzipan middle. The palate is velvety rather than sharp; rye spice and dry oak keep the fruit from turning candy-sweet, and malt lingers with cinnamon. It drinks rounded and grain-led, with enough 100-proof weight for a highball or a neat sip.
