Current US bottlings of this SKU are 92 proof and un-chill-filtered, which concentrates toffee, spice, and sherry nuttiness instead of sanding them down. This is an after-dinner dram.
Aromatic oils, spicy toffee, and wood open into vanilla, leather, and dried orchard fruit. The palate is mellow but fuller at 92 proof — coconut, citrus, toasted nuts, and gentle spice — with a long wood-spice-toffee finish.
