Jefferson’s Ocean Aged at Sea Wheated Bourbon Whiskey puts wheat where rye usually sits, then sends fully matured barrels — at least four years on land — around the globe in shipboard rickhouses. Wheat is a softer grain, so it does not fight the voyage: vanilla, caramel, and sea salt come forward instead of rye heat. Bottled at 90 proof, it is the gentler Ocean pour. A large cube pulls the caramel and bread notes into focus.
