Kaiyō Mizunara Oak Cask Strength Whisky is a Japanese malt blending-house whisky filled entirely into handmade Ariake Mizunara casks, then sent from Osaka on a sea voyage of up to three months so temperature, pressure, and motion wake the wood. Mizunara's incense, orange, and sandalwood are the point; cask strength keeps them dense. Bottled at 106 proof, un-chill-filtered. Pour it over a large cube.
