Longrow Peated is Springbank's core heavily peated Campbeltown single malt: barley dried over peat for about two days (~50 ppm), double distilled for an oily spirit, then matured in ex-bourbon and sherry casks. Named for the lost distillery next door, it has been a regular Springbank make since the 1990s, bottled at 92 proof without chill filtration, in a 700 mL bottle. It is a smoky nightcap.
Vanilla custard and toasted marshmallow meet peat smoke that builds in waves rather than blasting the glass. Citrus, malt sweetness, and a medicinal, briny edge keep it coastal. The finish is long and ashy: honey, pepper, and lingering kiln smoke.
