Those American staves are what you taste as raw honey and cherry-pie richness. This is an after-dinner dram.
Cherry pie and vanilla bean open, then honey, toasted marshmallow, and candied ginger ride the sip. Stone fruit and salted caramel close a vibrant, slightly drying palate, with ginger and dark chocolate on the tail.
