This is a warm, fruit-led liqueur. Made in Greece, METAXA Grande Fine Amber Spirit brings together an easy sweetness and a gently drying oak note, giving the profile enough contrast to stay balanced rather than sugary.
The spirit is aged for 8–15 years in Limousin oak casks and bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV). Dried fruit forms the core, while ripe apricot adds a softer, brighter edge. Honey rounds the flavor without masking the oak, which lingers quietly at the close. The result is mellow and easy to enjoy without much ceremony.
