This is a bright, creamy mezcal. Made in Santa Maria la Pila, Miahuatlán, Oaxaca, it brings together Bicuishe and Madrecuishe, both Agave karwinskii, with Mexicano (Agave rhodacantha) and Espadín (Agave angustifolia). Distilled in 2013 and aged 5 years, it is bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV), giving the fruit and floral notes a clear, assertive frame.
Lavender lends a soft floral lift, while grapefruit adds a clean citrus edge. Pineapple brings ripe sweetness without taking the profile too far toward dessert, and fresh cream rounds the palate with a smooth, gentle finish. The combination is direct and easy to understand, with enough strength to stay expressive over a large cube. Mezcalero No. 28 Mezcal comes in a 750 mL size.
