Old Fitzgerald 19 Year Old Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Old Fitzgerald 19 Year Old Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Old Fitzgerald 19 Year Old Bottled-in-Bond Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is Heaven Hill's Fall 2022 Decanter Series release, barreled in September 2003 and bottled in October 2022 from rickhouses F and X in Bardstown. At nineteen years it was the oldest national bottle in the series: a wheated bourbon bonded at 100 proof, so the extra time shows as cocoa, dried fig, and leather. Save it for an after-dinner dram.
Butterscotch and cocoa powder lead, with dried fig and baking spice close behind. The sip is creamy and syrupy, then pepper and leather step in. Milk chocolate, warm spice, and toasted oak finish long and dry, with the wheat still soft under the wood.
