Old Overholt 12 Year Old Cask Strength Straight Rye Whiskey is the 2025 limited extra-aged rye from Clermont: distilled in spring 2013, twelve years in new charred American oak across four warehouses, unfiltered at 117 proof (58.5% ABV). The extra year and higher strength push dark berries and cinnamon forward. Pour it neat when you want rye at full volume.
Dark berries and vanilla lead, then cinnamon and caramel. White pepper and seasoned oak stand out on the palate; the body is rich and coating, and the finish is long, drying, and spiced.
