Rare Character Limited Release Batch No. 9 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Rare Character Limited Release Batch No. 9 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Rare Character Limited Release Batch No. 9 Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a 2025 RCLR small-batch bourbon: Kentucky and Indiana barrels aged six to fifteen years, married in Lexington and bottled at 117.5 proof (58.75% ABV). About 2,700 bottles. The older casks are what you taste as toffee, cocoa, and dried fruit; the younger stock keeps caramel and vanilla from drying out at this proof. Pour it over a large cube.
Vanilla, dark caramel, and toasted oak lead, then toffee, baking spice, cocoa, and dried fruit fill a full sip with cherry and tobacco. The finish is long and warm: molasses, oak, and dark chocolate. It drinks cask-strong and layered, a blend meant to outrun the heat.
