It is Mashbill #2 — a higher-rye recipe — drawn from one new charred oak barrel and bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV), so cherry and vanilla stay creamy while the rye still cuts. A spirit-forward cocktail bottle.
Summer cherry, baked apple, and vanilla open, with cinnamon and toasted sugar underneath. Butterscotch, cocktail cherry, and creamy leather stand out on the palate; the body is silky, and the finish lingers on rye spice, cocoa, and honeyed oak.
