Bottled at 92 proof (46% ABV). The sour-ale wood is why sour cherry, fig, and citrus zest cut through rye spice instead of a straight baking-spice close. Pour it when sipping with friends.
Candied nuts and vanilla open first, then citrus zest. Sour cherry, fig preserves, and malted chocolate stand out on the palate; cinnamon, clove, and bitter orange ride the sip, and the finish is medium with peppery warmth.
