Bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV). That medium toast is what you taste as vanilla, candy sweetness, and sweet oak. Keep it for a weeknight pour.
Vanilla and sweet oak lead, then cherry, toasted nuts, and burnt brown sugar fill an easy sip with a candy-like edge and a little orange and peach toward the close. The finish is long, toasted, and popcorn-sweet, vanilla holding through. It drinks approachable at 94 proof, toast in the middle of the sip rather than a heavy char bomb.
