Siembra Azul's Lidia is an extra añejo built from Blue Weber agave grown in the highlands of Los Altos, Jalisco, and it drinks with the warmth that classification implies without losing the plant underneath. Cooked agave sits at the center, sweet and faintly vegetal, with caramel and vanilla wrapped around it.
The fruit is what sets it apart. Tropical notes and bright citrus lift the sweetness before cinnamon brings a gentle heat, and the finish turns cool and dark, mint against chocolate. At 80 proof (40% ABV) it stays soft and approachable, which makes it easy to return to on an ordinary evening rather than saving it for a milestone.
Lidia is a blend of unaged tequila and tequila rested in American oak, so the wood shapes the spirit without burying it. It is additive free, and that clarity shows in how directly the agave comes through. 750 mL.
