Smoke Wagon Uncut Unfiltered Bourbon Whiskey

Smoke Wagon Uncut Unfiltered Bourbon Whiskey is Nevada H&C's high-rye 60% corn / 36% rye / 4% malted barley mashbill, blended from young and old desert-aged MGP barrels, then bottled with no water and no chill filtration around 116 proof (58% ABV). Older stock is why the sip turns thick and caramel-sweet; younger barrels cut tannin so fruit still shows at barrel strength. Pour it neat when the proof is the point.

Brown sugar and caramel open first, then toasted oak, vanilla, and cinnamon. Dark fruit, chocolate-covered cherry, and rye spice stand out on the palate; the mouthfeel is buttery and heavy, and the finish runs long on leather, cigar, and dry oak.
