Uncle Nearest Straight Rye Whiskey 100 Proof is a 100-percent rye mash distilled in Canada to American straight-rye specs, aged at least four years in New York, then rested in used Uncle Nearest barrels in Tennessee before Victoria Eady Butler blends it barrel by barrel. That second rest lays vanilla cream and caramelized sugar over the grain. Bottled at 100 proof. Build a spirit-forward cocktail.
Praline and nutmeg lead, with white pepper and rye spice filling a dense sip. Vanilla cream and caramelized sugar stand out on the palate. Candied orange, leather, and seasoned oak hang on a long, rich finish.
