Van Winkle Special Reserve 12 Year Old Lot B Bourbon Whiskey is the allocated wheated Kentucky bourbon from Buffalo Trace: twelve years in new charred American oak, wheat in place of rye as the second grain, bottled at 90.4 proof so honey and tobacco stay soft instead of hot. Share it with friends.
Honey and dried mango lead, with cocoa and dark fruit filling a round, unhurried sip. Tobacco and vanilla stand out on the palate. Oak and a dry tingle hang on a balanced finish.
