Woodford Reserve Private Selection Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is an unnamed bottling from Woodford’s Personal Selection program in Versailles: barrels grouped by flavor profile and bottled from that chosen small-batch lot. Same 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley mash, copper pot stills, and heat-cycled rickhouses as the house bourbon, bottled at 90.4 proof (45.2% ABV) for this listing. It is a pour for sipping with friends.
Dried fruit and orange peel lead, with cocoa and toffee filling a rounded, chewy sip. Vanilla and cinnamon stand out on the palate; caramel and warm spice ride a silky finish.
