Yellowstone Hand Picked Collection Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey 119 Proof

Yellowstone Hand Picked Collection Single Barrel Bourbon Whiskey 119 Proof is one cask from Limestone Branch Distillery's Hand Picked Collection in Lebanon, Kentucky: accounts taste a barrel at several strengths and bottle it at the proof that shows best. This lot was dumped at 119 proof (59.5% ABV), so the 75% open-pollinated white heirloom corn, 13% rye, and 12% malted barley, aged in new charred oak, come through concentrated from a single dump rather than a vat. It is a high-proof sipper for a quiet chair.

Caramel and vanilla lead from the corn and char, with honey filling a hot, full sip. Rye spice and toasted oak stand out on the palate; the finish is long and warming.
