Ardbeg Ardcore Committee Release Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

Ardbeg Ardcore is the 2022 Ardbeg Day Committee bottle, 92 proof, and the first Ardbeg made with roasted black malt — barley taken nearly to charcoal. That burnt malt is why it exists: coffee, char, and peat in one glass.
Burnt toast, chicory, charcoal, dark chocolate, and smoked lime, then treacle and soot. Spicy and fiery, then sweet.
