This is a warm, aromatic Cognac. Made from Ugni Blanc in Cognac Borderies, Camus Borderies X.O Cognac is matured in French oak. It is bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV), and the 750 mL bottle is a practical size for keeping this style close at hand.
Candied orange gives the profile a bright citrus edge, while violet adds a clear floral note. Hazelnut brings a rounded, nutty depth. The profile moves easily between bright, floral tones and darker, nutty flavors without becoming difficult to read. It can be served neat to keep those aromas in focus, or over a large cube for a cooler, softer pour. Cocoa and baking spice settle into the finish.
