Oaxaca is the origin of this Espadín mezcal, an additive-free bottling shaped by a distinctive pechuga process. Fruit, nuts and chicken breast are incorporated during the third distillation, setting it apart from a more straightforward expression of agave. Bottled at 98 proof (49% ABV), it has a firm presence and comes in a 750 mL bottle.
Roasted agave anchors the palate, with tropical fruit and plum bringing a ripe, rounded counterpoint. Smoke sits alongside savory spice, while herbs and almonds draw the finish toward earthier territory.
