At 94 proof (47% ABV), Monkey 47 Schwarzwald Dry Gin has enough strength to keep its flavors clear in a classic cocktail. Juniper leads, while citrus brings brightness and floral aromas soften the edges. Peppery spices add a crisp, lively accent without overwhelming the gin’s fresher side.
Made in Germany’s Black Forest, also known as the Schwarzwald, the gin is matured in earthenware containers. A subtle bitter-fruit note gives the finish a dry, gently complex turn. The 1 L size works well for a home bar, with a profile suited to a gin and tonic, Martini, or Negroni. It is aromatic and versatile, balancing familiar juniper with citrus, flowers, spice, and a lightly bitter close.
