The GlenDronach Revival 15 Year Old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky returned to the core range in 2018 after a stock-driven pause: fifteen years in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks in the dunnage warehouses at Forgue. The Revival name marks that return, still bottled at 92 proof (46% ABV) without chill filtration or added colour. Black cherry and manuka honey are what those years in Spanish oak buy. Pour it in cold weather.
Maraschino cherry, ripe bramble, and dark-chocolate mint lead, then honey-glazed apricot, fig, and black cherry fill a round, sherried sip. Muscovado and orange bitters stand out on the palate; manuka honey, herbal bitters, and dark chocolate linger on a long finish.
