Chivas Regal 25 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky is the luxury blend Chivas sent to New York in the early 1900s, revived in 2007 and bottled at 80 proof. Every whisky in it is aged 25 years, and every cask is nosed and hand-selected. Master blender Sandy Hyslop builds each batch from scratch in the blending room. That selection is why the fruit reads as orange, peach, and marzipan.
Sweet orange, peach, and marzipan open the glass, with toasted nuts and a chocolate-orange richness. The mouthfeel is soft and fondant-creamy. The finish stays on orange and cream.
