Chivas Regal 18 Year Old Blended Scotch Whisky is aged 18 years and bottled at 80 proof, every malt and grain whisky in the blend old enough to carry that age. The longer aging moves the blend toward toffee, raisin, and dark chocolate. Whisky Advocate scored this 40% bottling 92 and treated the recipe as one of Colin Scott's most closely kept.
Dried fruit, buttery toffee, and dark chocolate lead, with vanilla, almond, and warm oak spice. The texture is smooth and velvety. The finish is long and warm, with chocolate and spice still in it.
