This is Armagnac with gravity and depth. Aged for 50 years, BHAKTA is a single-barrel expression from Armagnac, Gascony, made from traditional Armagnac varieties. Its distillation dates span 1868–1970, giving this bottling an extraordinary reach across time.
Dried fruit gives the palate a dark, concentrated richness and a supple sense of fullness, while tobacco brings an earthy, savory counterpoint. Rancio extends that mature character into a long, resonant finish. The flavors carry weight without becoming heavy, allowing the brandy’s aged complexity to remain clear.
The spirit was finished in an Islay whisky cask. Gentle smoke appears at the close, settling into deeper tones rather than overtaking them. Presented in a 750 mL bottle.
