Buffalo Trace Kosher Wheat Recipe Bourbon Whiskey is Buffalo Trace’s wheated bourbon under kosher supervision, bottled at 94 proof and offered once a year after Passover. Wheat is the flavoring grain, the recipe family used for Weller, and the whiskey aged 7 years in Frankfort in new oak the Chicago Rabbinical Council designated for this program. The barrels were sold to a non-Jewish owner for the years in wood, and the bottling line is flushed before this bourbon is filled. It carries cRc certification and is not kosher for Passover.

Vanilla and honeyed sweetness open into apple, peach, and cinnamon. The body is lightly creamy, the oak stays soft, and the finish carries fruit, baking spice, and dry wood.
