This is a warm, oak-aged tequila. Don Vicente Extra Añejo is made with Blue Weber agave in Jalisco’s Los Altos region, then aged for 3 years in American oak barrels. It is additive free, with cooked agave remaining at the center of its character.
Butterscotch and honey give the palate a mellow sweetness, while vanilla settles alongside dried fruit. Light oak shapes the finish without obscuring the agave. Bottled at 80 proof (40% ABV), it can be served neat to emphasize the fruit and oak, or over a large cube for a cooler, slower pour. The 750 mL bottle suits evenings when a familiar tequila pour calls for added depth.
