Saint Madeleine, Trinidad and Tobago, is the source of this single-cask rum, distilled in 2012 and matured for 12 years in ex-Cognac and ex-bourbon casks. Bottled at cask strength, it carries its full 118 proof (59% ABV) with no additives.
Butterscotch gives the pour a rich opening, while apricot adds a ripe fruit note. Black tea brings darker depth, and orange peel keeps the profile bright and aromatic. The bold strength makes this especially suited to slow sipping; enjoy it neat for full intensity or over a large cube for a gentler pour. It comes in a 750 mL bottle.
