Luc Belaire Rare Rosé Sparkling Wine 1.5L
Off-dry, fruity, vibrant and smooth. This is a light- to medium-bodied sparkling rosé with juicy red fruit and a soft mousse. Its dosage falls in the Sec range, giving a gentle touch of sweetness. The nose shows a rich bouquet of red berries. The palate brings strawberry and blackcurrant. The bubbles are fine and persistent, and the acidity is moderate. The finish is elegant and smooth.
Luc Belaire is produced in Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, in the south of France, by a father-and-son team of fifth- and sixth-generation winemakers. The blend is about 90% Syrah, with small amounts of Grenache and Cinsault. It is made in the Charmat method, with about six months in steel tanks for a fresh, fruit-forward style. A 100% Syrah dosage gives the wine its deep pink color. It is bottled at 12.5% ABV in a 1.5 L magnum, sealed in the brand’s signature black bottle.
Drink young, well chilled to about 42°F, as an aperitif or in sparkling cocktails.
