Malene Rosé 1.5L

Dry, crisp and refreshing. This is a light- to medium-bodied rosé in the pale Provençal style. The nose shows melon, white grapefruit and peach, with a floral lift. The palate brings watermelon, strawberry, nectarine and stone fruit. Bright acidity gives it energy. A hint of saline, chalky minerality leads to a clean, mouthwatering finish.

Malene is the rosé-focused label of Chamisal Vineyards in San Luis Obispo, created as an ode to Provence. The cuvée draws on traditional rosé grapes from vineyards across California’s Central Coast, led by Grenache and Cinsault for strawberry and melon, with Vermentino adding floral notes and Mourvèdre and Carignan bringing savory, spicy accents. This is the 1.5 L magnum, which holds the equivalent of two standard bottles.

Serve well chilled, around 45 to 50°F. Pair with fish tacos, salads or grilled vegetables, and drink it young.
