Nickel & Nickel Truchard Vineyard Chardonnay 2024

Dry, bright and polished, with a silky texture. This is a medium- to full-bodied Chardonnay with generous fruit and cool-climate lift. The nose shows honeysuckle, pineapple and crushed stone. The palate brings fresh pear, white peach and peach blossom. Subtle French oak adds gentle spice without weight. Bright acidity and a cool minerality keep it focused, and the finish is long and full.

Nickel & Nickel’s Truchard Vineyard Chardonnay comes from eight select sections of the 270-acre Truchard Vineyard in the heart of Napa Valley’s Carneros district. Southwest-facing slopes, volcanic ash and rock soils, and cool bay breezes allow a long, even ripening season. True to the winery’s single-vineyard approach, it is 100% Chardonnay, fermented and aged in French oak barrels with time on the lees. The 2024 is bottled at 14.2% ABV in a 750 mL bottle.

Delicious now and over the next three to five years. Serve lightly chilled, around 50–55°F, with roast chicken, lobster or scallops.
