Quattro Theory Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Dry, dark, balanced and smooth. This is a full-bodied Cabernet with ripe fruit and a savory edge. The nose shows black cherry and blackberry, with vanilla and a hint of dried herbs. The palate brings dark fruit, dark chocolate and a light touch of mint. French oak adds gentle toast and spice. The tannins are firm but approachable, and the finish is long and even.
Quattro Theory honors four generations of the Trinchero family, Napa Valley winemakers for more than 75 years. This Cabernet is built mainly on valley-floor fruit from two estate vineyards in the St. Helena AVA, with estate mountain fruit from Mt. Veeder and Atlas Peak adding depth. Grapes are hand-harvested at night, small amounts of other Bordeaux varieties are blended in, and the wine is aged in new and used French oak. It is bottled at 14.5% ABV in a 750 mL bottle.
