This is a bright, high-proof rum with a playful fruit edge. Made with Java sugarcane in Santa María Tlalixtac, Oaxaca, it brings together vivid flavors and a firm cask-strength presence. Watermelon candy gives the opening a juicy sweetness, while tart cherry-lime keeps the profile lively rather than heavy.
After 27 months in new French oak and a finish in Hungarian oak, cocoa adds a darker note before warm spice and pepper take over. At 119.4 proof (59.7% ABV), the rum has plenty of intensity, but its familiar fruit and chocolate notes make the flavors easy to follow. This 750 mL single-barrel release is additive free and certified organic, offering a direct expression of sugarcane, oak maturation, and robust strength.
